BUT...
Today's reading: Genesis 28-31

"Jacob called Rachel and Leah out to the field where he was watching the flocks so he could talk things over with them. Your father has turned against me and is not treating me like he used to, he told them. But the God of my father has been with me." Genesis 31:4-5 NLT

The doctors' diagnosis was not good...but God is with you.

The prodigal still hasn't returned from the far country...but God is with you.

The plans you made are unraveling by the day...but God is with you.

The requests you've been on your knees about remain unanswered...but God is with you.

Things may not be going well. The future may look dark and dreary. The attempts you make only seem to take you one or two steps backward.

But...and if you are His you can shout this from the rooftop--God is with you!

Nothing is too hard with Him.
