DEAD TO SIN
Today's reading: Matthew 5-6
"...Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?" Matthew 6:2 NLT
As a proclaiming Christian, we claim our sins have been forgiven by the powerful work of the Cross. We no longer are bound by the chains of addictions, regrets or poor choices. Sin no longer has a hold on us. Sin no longer separates us from God.
It's no longer comfortable.
Or fun.
It just doesn't fit well anymore.
It holds no appeal.
It pricks your heart.
It brings shame.
It hurts to see another still tied up in it.
