The thoughts are those of a young woman in regards to her handsome prince.

She has full faith in him.  She admires him.  She depends on him to keep her safe.  She is not afraid when she is near him.

Rival-(verb) to be as good as or almost as good as something or someone.

Is that how you feel about God?

Do you truly believe none can compare to Him?  He has no equal?  He cannot be defeated by anyone or anything?  Are you safe in His care?

Are you certain, absolutely certain, none can rival Him?

You should be.  Yes, we should be.
