PRAYING FOR OTHERS
Today's reading:  Luke 7-8

"So they earnestly begged Jesus to come with them and help the man, If anyone deserves your help, it is he, they said..."  Luke 7:4 NLT

I have a very dear friend who has bestowed upon me the privilege of lifting an unspoken prayer need of hers to the Lord.

I take that very seriously.

She's asked a monumental task of me...in hopes of having an additional voice being heard by our Father in Heaven.

She lives a life very much deserving of God hearing and answering her prayers.  I've told Him that.

She knows, regardless of how the prayers are answered, that He is great and mighty and loving.  I've told Him that, too.

She believes in my ability to speak to God on her behalf, knowing all about me--the faultiest Christian I know, and still she hands me this precious gift.  I've told Him that, too.

Are you praying for someone else?  It's an awesome privilege, and it's an opportunity to spend more time at the foot of God's throne!
