YOU GOTTA KNOW IT
Today's reading:  Acts 7-8

"Then the high priest asked Stephen, Are these accusation true?  This was Stephen's reply..."  Acts 7:1-2 NLT

We find Stephen being grilled by the religious elite of the day about his dealings with the new Way.

What was Stephen to do?  What would he say?  How would he defend himself and his beliefs?

He told them what he knew.

He told them what he'd experienced.

He told them what he'd been taught and had come to believe for himself.

For forty-eight verses he told them.

What can we learn from this?  We can see that we all we to share is what we know about God's power and love.

About the gifts of grace we've opened.

About the love we know.

That's all we can share--and that's all the world needs to know!
