I STILL BELIEVE
Today's reading:  Hebrews 11-13

"All these faithful ones died without receiving what God had promised them, but they saw it all from a distance and welcomed the promises of God."  Hebrews 11:13 NLT

I'm still gonna believe, even if I never hold it in my hand.

I'm still gonna believe, even if the relief never comes this side of heaven.

I'm still gonna believe, even if they never walk through the church house doors during my time on this earth.

I'm still gonna believe, even if the piece I see never fit together.

I'm still gonna believe, even if the distance between my hopes and my dreams widen.

I'm still gonna believe, even if I'm the only one.

I'm still gonna believe, even if the checkbook says 'no', the accumulation of my strengths and abilities say 'no' and the evil one whispering in my ear says 'no'.

You have to understand, I choose to see it all from a distance.  And to tell you the truth, the distant view spurs me on to believe that it will all be worth it!
