HE'S NOT FORGOTTEN
Today's reading:  Psalm 96-98

"He has remembered his promise to love and be faithful..."  Psalm 98:3 NLT

I forget a lot of things.

I make lists.  I place reminders in highly visible areas.  I use my planner religiously.

And still I forget.  Appointments surprise me.  Meetings are forgotten.  I get home from the grocery without that one thing I went to get.

And, it bugs me.  It annoys me.  It makes me mad.  It's a nuisance and can ruin a perfectly good day.

Praise God, who never forgets!

He does not forget His promises to me--even when I allow circumstances to let them slip from my mind.

He remembers me.  I'm always on His mind.  He is always beside me.  His mercy and grace are always flowing into my life.

I needed that reminder today.  I may forget a lot of things today, but may I never forget that God, my great, big, wonderful God, keeps His promises.
