SAFE
Today's reading:  Psalm 54-56

"He rescues me and keeps me safe, from the battle waged against me, even though many still oppose me."  Psalm 55:18 NLT

Four years ago.

Huddled against the inside wall with twenty-eight children and a trying-to-be-calm second grade teacher.

We can hear the wind.  We can see its powerful effects on everything outside the classroom windows.

A storm.  An inland hurricane.  A derecho.  A cold core storm.  Flat line winds. 

Whatever it was, fear was evident.     

Today?

Today I see He was sufficient.  He was with us.  He was in the storm.  He is on this side of the storm, too.

I'm not sure where you are--coming into a storm, in the middle of a nor'easter or on the backside of a tough time.  Where ever it is, God is able.  God is willing.  God is worthy to be praised, right where you are!
