THE REAL ME
Today's reading:  2 Samuel 5-9

"...You know what I am really like, Sovereign Lord."  2 Samuel 7:20 NLT

I can put on airs.

I can get made-up.

I can put on a smile.

I can polish my manners and hold my head up high as I watch my p's and q's.

I can get gussied up, as Grandma used to say--but God still knows the real me.

That's scary.  There's nothing at all I can hide from Him.

That's humbling.  The One who holds the galaxies in place, knows me.

That's comforting.  He knows me, inside and out, and still sent His Son to die on a cross.

He knows me, yet He loves me!
