COUNTDOWN
Today's reading:  Psalm 39-41

"Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be.  Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away."  Psalm 39:4 NLT

It's only 265 days until Christmas.

It will be here before we know it.

We'll be scratching our heads and saying to each other, as we stand in the crowded checkout lanes, where has the time gone? 

Same is true for life.

Go ahead and do what He's called you to do today.  Forgive today.  Witness today.  Call up that old friend today.  Send that card today.  Confess those sins today.  Step out on faith today.

Allow today's verse to remind you that our days are numbered--and we don't know what that number is!
