RESCUED
Today's reading:  Psalm 12-14

"But I trust in your unfailing love, I will rejoice because you have rescued me."  Psalm 13:5 NLT

The storm is still raging--but You have rescued me.

The circumstance has not evaporated--but You have rescue me.

The fears have not disappeared--but You have rescued me.

The situation is no less fearful than before--but You have rescued me.

I must keep in mind that Your rescue has saved me from far more than this world threatens me with on a daily basis.

I am rescued from death.

I am rescued from hell.

I am rescued from eternity without You.

I have been rescued, even if what's going on around me is unaware of it!
