LESS OF ME

More of Him, less of me.

As self-centered and self-absorbed as I am, (Oh, admit it, you are, too.) there are so many areas of my life in which I would love to see less of myself and more of Christ.

More of His words, fewer of my own.

More of His will and less of my own.

More of His love and less of what I think is love.

More of His grace and less of my grudge holding.

More of His patience and less of my 'microwave-it-and-be-done' mindset.

More of His characteristics and fewer, a whole lot fewer, of the ones I've brought into the relationship!

More of Him and less of me--yes, that's what I want!
