FILLING OUR THOUGHTS

Lord, is it possible?

To, really and truly, set aside thinking about here and now and think only of eternity?

The things that will last?

Things of eternal consequence?

You?

I am flustered by the chaos around me.  The things I must accomplish for the 'world as I know it' to run smoothly.  I flit about making sure all the things I think should get done do.  I have a planner page filled to the top with what I need to do just for the next hour of time.

But I believe You're talking about priorities, aren't You?

It's not that my family needs fed, the laundry needs doing and the personal worship time needs tending to:  it's my attitude about all of it, isn't it?

What attitude will I carry into heaven with me?
