DIFFERENT

Today's reading: Matthew 20-22

"But among you it should be quite different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must become your slave." Matthew 20:26-27 NLT

I'm asking myself this morning, How different am I from the unsaved crowd?

God tells me to be unlike those who don't know Him.

He asks me to contrast with the world around me.

I have been commanded to 'stick out' in a dark world like a light.

But how am I doing?

How are you doing?

Our differences can point them to Jesus.

Our separateness can draw them into the church.

Our opposing way of life can intrigue them enough to ask about why we live the way we do.

Our obedience in being mismatched in this world is noticeable when we desire to give God all the glory for it.

So? How are we doing? Is there any marked difference at all?
