REAL REASON

Today's reading: Romans 1-2

"For I long to visit you so I can share a spiritual blessing with you that will help you grow strong in the Lord. I'm eager to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours. In this way, each of us will be a blessing to the other." Romans 1:11-12 NLT

I truly enjoy getting together with friends.

Talking. Sharing. Praying. Eating. Laughing. Crying.

But this year, this brand new year, I want my gatherings to be about more--and Romans 1:11-12 sums it all up.

I want to share all God has blessed me with and I want to be blessed by all God has blessed you with.

No holding back.

No keeping it hidden.

No thinking my testimony isn't good enough or comes across as boastful.

I want God to enter into each and every interaction I have this year--so that I can use the gifts He has given me and you can use yours!
