THE SHOUT OF A HUGE CROWD
Today's reading: Revelation 18-22
"Then I heard again what sounded like the shout of a huge crowd, or the roar of mighty ocean waves, or the crash of loud thunder: Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns. Let us be glad and rejoice and honor him..." Revelation 19:6-7 NLT
We can whoop and holler at the ball game, the soccer field, beside the ice at a hockey game or towards the TV as our favorite team makes a comeback...but does God hear us shouting His praise?
When we see the sunrise, pink and orange.
When we see the first shoots of spring, green and fragile.
When we see the first snowflakes, white and delicate.
When we see the first robin, hopping and spry.
When we hear the thunder in the distance.
When we hear the windchimes tinkling.
When we hear the first words of a child or the last words of a dying saint.
Do we shout His praise then?
Does He hear us roar?
