FRESH EVERY MORNING

Today's reading: Exodus 13-16

"Then Moses told them, Do not keep any of it overnight. But, of course, some of them didn't listen and kept some of it until morning. By then it was full of maggots and had a terrible smell. And Moses was very angry with them." Exodus 16:19-20 NLT

Maybe your tank was filled up in worship service yesterday. Great!

Maybe they sang and played your favorite songs. The pastor spoke on your favorite Bible account. The Spirit spoke to your heart. Your burdens were lifted. You were encouraged. You were set free. You were challenged. You were convicted and set right with God.

I pray all those things!

But today is a new day, you cannot carry those things over.

God is fresh every morning. His mercies new each daybreak. 

Crack open your Bible today.

Get on your knees today.

Sing a song of praise today.

Confess your sins today.

Seek encouragement from your dearest Friend today.

Collect manna again today for your hungry spirit...manna that is just for today, and today alone!
