JUST HIS GUEST

Today's reading: Psalm 39-41

"Hear my prayer, O Lord! Listen to my cries for help! Don't ignore my tears. For I am your guest--a traveler passing through, as my ancestors were before me." Psalm 39:12 NLT

I've always heard the songs sung about being a traveler.

A weary traveler. 

Songs about this world not being my home.

But this morning, He spoke to my heart about me being a guest of His...on this planet of His...to these people of His...with this mission of His...to go through what He deems I can handle...until the time appointed by Him...to go to my eternal home which He has prepared.

Just a guest for right now.

A lovingly cared for guest visiting only one of His properties.

Gives today a whole new meaning!
