WHEN YOU ARE TIRED OF IT ALL
Today's reading: Judges 4-5
"Sisera, who had nine hundred iron chariots, ruthlessly oppressed the Israelites for twenty years. Then the Israelites cried out to the Lord for help." Judges 4:3 NLT
Did it really take twenty years for them to become tired of it all? Fed up with oppression? Worn out with being under unbearable circumstances?
Had they grown comfortable in their dilemma? Had they settled in to their sad situation?
Twenty years and then they decided to cry out to God for help?
How long would it have taken you?
How long has it taken you?
To ask Him to release you from whatever prison the enemy has you held in? Addiction he has you strapped to? Stronghold he thinks he has you tied down with? Unforgiveness he has allowed to grow in your heart and head?
It's been quite long enough, hasn't it?
