BELONG
Today's reading: Ephesians 1-3

"But now you belong to Christ Jesus. Though you were once far away from God, now you have been brought near to him because of the blood of Christ." Ephesians 2:13 NLT

Belong-to be attached by birth, allegiance or dependency.

Birth-I am a child of God!

Allegiance-He is my Savior and is owed every ounce of my service and loyalty.

Dependency-He provides the air I breathe; He causes my heart to beat within my chest; He allows blood to course through my veins; He spins the very earth I reside on; He has provided me with the blessings He has for the life He has ordained me to live; His ways are the best ways for me and I trust Him entirely for those plans to play out; He has forgiven my past, holds tightly these present days and has secured my future.

Yes, I belong to Christ!
