EXAMINE

Examine-to inspect closely; to test the condition of; to inquire into carefully.

What a thought!

It's not about me. About how I feel. About how comfortable I am. About whether or not I can lay my head down and sleep without remorse or regret.

It's not about whether I believe I did the right thing. Gave what I thought I had to offer. Reacted according to what my circumstances okayed.

He searches out the reasons of my heart.

He questions the deep-down motives of my every action.

He scrutinizes, like a surgeon attempting to remove a cancer, what is needing removed from my life.

He sifts my feelings out and looks intently at my heart.

It's not about me...it can't be about me...it's got to be all about Him!
