OUR ONLY RESPONSE
Today's reading: 2 Chronicles 6-10

"When all the people of Israel saw the fire coming down and the glorious presence of the Lord filling the Temple, they fell down on the ground and worshiped and praised the Lord, saying, He is so good! His faithful love endures forever!" 2 Chronicles 7:3 NLT

The folks gathered for the dedication of the Temple did what comes naturally to those created in His image.

They worshiped.

They fell down in awe.

Praise rolled off their tongues.

When the best happens, it points us to Him.

When the worst occurs, it draws us to Him.

When awe-inspiring events come about, it directs our eyes to Him.

When hard to understand things leave us in unknown surroundings, it brings us to face-to-face with Him.

His greatness and goodness are revealed in all things and those revelations leave us with nothing more to do than praise Him! It's a natural response. It's hard-wired into us by God Himself.
