CATCHING OUR ATTENTION
Today's reading: Exodus 1-4
"When the Lord saw that he had caught Moses' attention, God called to him from the bush, Moses! Moses!" Exodus 3:4 NLT
In comparison to what surrounds us today, Moses had little in that desert near Sinai to distract him.
No television. No cell phones. No world wide web. No one. No traffic. No Sirius XM radio.
One would think it would have been quite easy for God to get his attention, but still yet, it took a burning/not burning bush.
But when he did catch Moses' attention, He spoke to him.
What would it take for God to really and truly have our attention? To be our main focus? To have our eyes, ears and hearts tuned 100 percent to Him?
Does it scare you to think of what it might be? Does it grab at your heart to think who He might use?
