LOVE
Today's reading: 2 John

"And now I want to urge you, dear lady, that we should love one another. This is not a new commandment, but one we had from the beginning." 2 John 5

I know, Lord, this was meant for me this morning.

Because I have been tolerating others, helping others, praying for others and being nice to others--but I've not been loving others as I should.

You know it's hard, and yet You still ask me to do it. Your first and most important commandment, really.

I guess loving others starts with seeing them through Your eyes. Instead of just my own. Warts, dirt, sin and all--before they are cleaned up by You. One of Your created masterpieces. One worthy of my time and effort.

Like, well, like You did for me!
