Today's reading: Ecclesiastes 1-2

"...Then I realized that this pleasure is from the hand of God." Ecclesiastes 2:24 NLT

We question God when bad things happen.

We shake our fists at our Creator when tough times arrive.

We waver in faith when our plans lay crumbled at our feet.

We doubt His love for us when dreams burst like bubbles right before our eyes.

We struggle beneath what's uncomfortable or un-timed or unknown.

But how often do we stop and think about all the pleasures, good things, in life we have been blessed with?

There are big blessings like family, home and salvation. There are everyday gifts like health, comfort and provision. There are the often overlooked treasures like taking a breath, seeing a bird in flight or tasting chocolate.

I want to realize more fully, and more acutely, the pleasures that come from the hand of God.
