NEVER
Today's reading: Hebrews 11-13

"...For God has said, I will never fail you. I will never forsake you." Hebrews 13:5 NLT

Paul was a great man of God and missionary.

Matthew was a follower of Christ and an author.

Peter was a mighty believer and a zealous writer.

But to me, there is something about hearing the words spoken by God to man that makes me take notice.

You see the words in Hebrews were repeating what God had spoken to Jacob--and to us!

"What's more, I will be with you, and I will protect you wherever you go. I will someday bring you safely back to this land. I will be with you constantly until I have finished giving you everything I have promised." Genesis 28:15 NLT

His words, not the words of men.

His promise, not the promise of another faulty human.

His reputation at stake, not the poor track record of Adam's seed.

He will never leave us...never!
