As you prepare for a day of worship, think about this...

It's not just about what you'll wear.

Where you'll sit.

Who you'll see.

What music they will choose.

What entertainment your kids might have.

Whether or not the pew will be packed.

It's all about God's Word being preached.

Are you preparing to listen for it?

To listen hard?

To actually carry your Bible with you, open it's pages and read for yourself what your pastor is sharing?

We must listen carefully. Words can be left out. Meanings can be changed. Context can be left out. Social preferences can be substituted for 'thus saith the Word of God'.
