BEING CHASED
Today's reading: Proverbs 13

"Disaster entraps sinners, but God-loyal people get a good life." Proverbs 13:21 MSG

"Evil pursues sinners. But to the righteous, good shall be repaid." Proverbs 13:21 NKJV

"Trouble chases sinners, while blessings chase the righteous." Proverbs 13:21 NLT

I'd never thought about being chased by blessings.

Pursued by evil? Yes.

Tracked by the devil? No doubt about it.

Chased down by the enemy? Certainly.

Sought out in order to be devoured? Of course, that's biblical.

But chased by blessings?

Why would I ever run from them? Why would I busy myself with other pursuits when blessings are mine to claim?

Oh, me, why do I do a lot of the things I do?
