IT'S THE BIG DAY

Ever had a night when you couldn't sleep because the next day promised to be so full of excitement?

The night before Christmas?

The night before your wedding?

The night before your little boy would make his arrival into the world?

You can't drift off to sleep. You can't turn your brain off. You can't think of counting sheep because the day ahead beckons you. You can't stop watching the clock which seems to have quit working. You just cannot wait till the morning comes and the thrills begin.

Do we anticipate God's love, goodness, mercy and grace to the extent that we cannot wait for morning to arrive and His gifts be poured out on us? Do we ask Him to amaze us? Do we pray His presence into our lives, our days, our thoughts?

What a thrill to know that in the span of the next twenty four hours He will show us how very much He loves us--and we don't have a clue as to how He might do it.

Oooh, oooh, oooh, I just cannot wait!
