FOREVER
Today's reading:  Psalm 60-62

"Let me live forever in your sanctuary, safe beneath the shelter of your wings!"  Psalm 61:4 NLT

David knew how it was out in the 'world', and he begged for God to let him live out his remaining days in the house of God.

Inside the church, where temptations are fewer.

Where, for the most part, the people are nicer.

Where it's usually easier for us to follow His commands and live in a way that pleases Him.

Where we are a little more protected from satan's wily ways.

Where--wait, it's where others already know about Him.  It's not where He's asked us to 'Go, therefore, and make disciples...'  It's not where He asked us to 'preach and teach the Gospel'.

Hiding out in the church might be great for our hearts and minds, but it will absolutely ruin any future hopes for the unsaved and those needing to know our Savior!
