PRAYERS NEEDED
Today's reading:  Proverbs 19

"People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry with God."  Proverbs 19:3 NLT

You and I both know folks like mentioned in today's verse.

They are bitter with life, lonely at death and intend to make everyone they meet as grumpy and unhappy as they are.

What do we do with folks like that?

We love them.

We give them an extra ounce of grace.

We show them mercy above and beyond anything we might feel like giving them.

And then we repeat the process.

Why?

Because we are instructed to.  Because Christ has given us an example of doing so.  Because we may be their only Gospel messenger.

And?

And because it could very easily be us, had it not been for God's touch in our lives.
