A SHOT IN THE ARM
Today's reading: 2 Corinthians 4-5
"We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed and broken. We are perplexed, but we don't give up and quit. We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going." 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT
If ever there was a verse we Christians need to be reminded of on Sunday mornings, it's this one.
You see, for me, and I think for a lot of you, Sunday is the time we re-group and re-charge for the week ahead. It's when we draw strength from the body of Christ. It's when we choose to gather with fellow warriors who are fighting the good fight.
This verse can be our cheer...
It can prepare us for the week's battles.
It can bolster our faith.
It can remind of us the purpose of the fight.
It can boost our resolve.
It can garner our commitment,
It can remind us that it's not about our lack of power, but all about His undying love for us!
