THE REAL REASON
Today's reading: John 16-18

Memorial services are being held across our nation. Flags are being flown at half-staff in remembrance. Speeches are being prepared, given and critiqued. Prayers are being prayed, whether in the public spectrum or not. Families are continuing to grieve. We will compare stories as to where we were when we heard the news.

September 11, 2001, will be remembered for years to come.

What happened is fact. Who did it is certain. Why it was done is still a mystery being discussed, being debated and being fought over. Well, it was until this morning...

"The world's sin is unbelief in me." John 16:9 NLT

Folks choosing to discount and fight again God chose to open fire upon a nation founded on God's sovereignty and might. A religion of unsettledness took a stand against a people whose majority rest on the premise of One Father, one heaven to be gained and one hell to spurn.

Sin brought this memorial day about. Sin affects so many, doesn't it?
