US AND THEM
Today's reading: Leviticus 13-15

"In this way, you will keep the people of Israel separate from things that will defile them..." Leviticus 15:31 NLT

Three chapters of rituals, rites and rules. Instance upon instance of instruction. Specifics. Details. Particulars.

The purpose? That His children, the ones called by His name, would stand out in the crowd. That their actions would be different. That their dependence would focus on God, not anything else.

Never, in all those verses, did He state we would be exempt from the catastrophes, problems or issues. Our lives will vary little from the lives of the unsaved in so many areas, but not in the area of hope, peace, love and joy!
