AGAIN AND AGAIN

Today's reading: Jeremiah 42-46

"Again and again I sent my servants, the prophets, to plead with them, Don't do these horrible things that I hate so much. But my people would not listen or turn back from their wicked ways. They kept right on burning incense to these gods." Jeremiah 44:4-5 NLT

How many times do we have to be told?

How often, and in how many different ways, do God's instructions need preached to us?

How frequently are we disregarding God's commands and promptings--thinking we know better than He?

Again and again, would be our answer.

Too often, would need to be our response.

Way, waayyyy, too many times, if we are completely honest.

God's patience is worn thin by our disregard for Him.

Wouldn't today be the right day to begin to listen to Him?
