MY LITTLE LIGHT
Today's reading:  Proverbs 13

"The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the sinner's light is snuffed out."  Proverbs 13:9 NLT

I want to be different.

In a dark, cold world, I want to stand out as warm and glowing.

I want that 'something' others see and can't quite put their finger on.  And when they ask, I'm gonna tell them about Jesus.

I want to handle trials in a way that astounds.

I want to walk through valleys with a joyous spirit.

I want to add brightness to the lives of each and every person I meet..

I want to live in expectation that my prayers will be answered, in His time and in His spectacular way

I want to be a beacon for those needing to find Christ.

I want to shine as I read God's Word and allow it's words to change my life.

What must I do to achieve these high and lofty goals?  I've got push myself aside and allow more of Christ into my heart and soul.

I want enough of Him in me that 'He shines through the holes in this cracked pot', as Patsy Clairmont puts it.
