LOVE THEM THAT MUCH

Might I speak to the 'choir' this morning?

The fellas and gals who are up and getting ready for church...

The deacons, trustees, Sunday School teachers, nursery workers, church janitors, pastors, worship team members, welcome team greeters and the like...

We are preparing for our 'day'. Our 'shift'. Our 'go time'. 

We have geared up all week for Sunday.

We have the bulletins printed, the Sunday School lessons prepared, the sermons practiced, the power points in place and the smiles brushed and mouthwashed.

But are we ready for Monday? Or Tuesday?  Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday?

If we are going to share the Good News with those God brings to our church, like Paul, Silas and Timothy did, are we not also to share life with them, too?

That reaches into the week ahead.

How might we go beyond the Lord's Day into the Lord's week in order to reach more of the Lord's flock?
