JEWELS IN A CROWN
Today's reading: Zechariah 8-14

"When that day arrives, the Lord their God will rescue his people, just as a shepherd rescues his sheep. They will sparkle in his land like jewels in a crown." Zechariah 9:16 NLT

Zechariah spoke of a time when the Messiah would come and make a way for people to have a right standing with God.

When he spoke, Jesus's coming was still almost 500 years in the future.

But he believed it would happen.

He trusted it would come to pass.

He knew a Savior was the only hope.

Jesus has come.

Jesus fulfilled Zechariah's prophecy--and so many more.

Jesus was born from a virgin, lived a sinless life, was condemned, killed on a cross and rose again.

All for us.

All to make a way for us to have a relationship with our Creator.

Do you know Him?

Is He your Salvation?

Have you accepted His gift of forgiveness?

Are you sparkling in the land like a jewel in a crown?
