AND WHEN

Today's reading: Job 23-24

"...And when he has tested me like gold in a fire, he will pronounce me innocent. For I have stayed in God's paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside." Job 23:10-11 NLT

That's my prayer...

To be able to stand say, at the end of any trial, any storm or any doubt-filled season of my life--that I have not turned away from Him.

I want to continue to cling to Him, no matter what life brings my way.

I want to be able to endure the heat of the refining fire, because I know He controls the heat.

I want to absolutely trust Him with my life, because of the good plans He has for it.

I want to stand innocent before Him one day--not because I was perfect in all that I did, but because I accepted His Son's blood over my life and walked with Him daily.
