NOT EVEN TEN?
Today's reading:  Genesis 16-19

In reading Genesis 18 this morning, I'm aghast.

This is the section of Scripture where Abraham pleads with the Lord in regards to Sodom and Gomorrah.

'You wouldn't destroy it if there were 50 godly people found, would you Lord?

Okay, how about 45?

40?

30?

20?

Ten, Lord, what if there were 10 godly people living there?'

God agrees.

But out of a town, according to a Google search, which may have had as many as 200,000 people inhabiting it, ten godly people could not be found.

Makes me think of my small town.

Makes me think of the small surrounding burgs.

Makes me think of my neighborhood.

Makes me think of my household.

Where are the godly people today?
