TOO STRONG FOR THEM

Today's reading: Jeremiah 29-31

"For the Lord has redeemed Israel from those too strong for them." Jeremiah 31:11 NLT

Read that single verse again...

"For the Lord has redeemed Israel from those too strong for them." Jeremiah 31:11 NLT

And again, with emphasis I have placed...

"For the Lord has redeemed Israel from THOSE TOO STRONG FOR THEM." Jeremiah 31:11 NLT

It's never been, is not now and will never be about any enemy being too strong for the Lord!

God has/can/will always redeem us from an enemy that is too strong for us. 

We cannot do it.

We don't have enough willpower, even if we borrowed it from another.

We don't have enough discipline to live a life worthy of redeeming ourselves.

We don't have enough soap to clean our slate to start again.

It's about God's strength, God's love and God's desire that we be His!

So hear this friend: You aren't strong enough to defeat your enemy, but your God is!
