TOUCH MY MOUTH

Today's reading: Jeremiah 1-6

"Then the Lord touched my mouth and said, See, I have put my words in your mouth!" Jeremiah 1:9 NLT

God,

Help me remember that You have touched my mouth, too.

In every conversation, let me share what You have filled me with--heart and mind.

Allow me to speak of You. With excitement. With clarity. With wonder.

Let me talk of the goodness of You, my God. Oh, there is so much I could say!

Give me boldness to bring You up in a conversation. Where ever  it is I am. Whoever I speak to.

Guide me with wisdom as to who needs to hear about Your love and mercy and forgiveness.

Let me be so filled with Your testimony that I don't have time or desire to speak idle words, unkind words, unnecessary words.

Let Your words flow from my mouth today, Lord.
