HAVE YOU NOTICED MY SERVANT JOB?

Today's reading: Job 29-30

For years I have wondered about the pre-book-of-Job Job.

Who he was before he was afflicted with his testimony?

What he had done in order for God to truly notice him and ask Satan to consider him for his experiment?

How he had impacted the world before signing off on his life story being published for thousands of years to come?

I think I found out!

I believe I have read what pushed him to the top, made him stand out, caused the houselights to fall on him...

"I helped those who had lost hope, and they blessed me. And I caused the widow's hearts to sing for joy." Job 29:13 NLT

Job shared from his heart. A heart filled with God's love. A heart that couldn't keep the love of God to himself. A heart filled with hope.

That's what made Job notable, outstanding, significant, remarkable in God's eyes.

He shared the hope he had with those he met.

Shouldn't we be doing the same? Don't we have that shared hope? Doesn't the world need to know about Him?
