IT'S NOT FOREVER
Today's reading: Lamentations 3-5

"For the Lord does not abandon anyone forever." Lamentations 3:31 NLT

During dry seasons of faith, know He will come through like a rain shower to dampen the ground of your heart.

During dark nights of worry, know He will come through like the dawn lighting the dark sky.

During the long hours of sorrow, know He will come through like the song of a bird in the form of warm memories and laughter in the soul.

During the doubting season, know He will come through with the answers you need--if they are truly needed.

He does not abandon anyone forever.

He does not leave us stranded beside the road.

He does not leave us unattended in the valley.

He does not leave us uncared for in the sickbed.

He does not leave us alone in the orphanage.

He does not leave us rotting in the stench in the gutter.

He does not leave us alone to our own means and ways and sins.
