KNOWING GOD IS PLEASED

Today's reading: Mark 1-2

"And a voice came from heaven saying, You are my beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with you." Mark 1:11 NLT

Ever wished for a voice from heaven confirming your choices, your path, your decisions?

As a grown-up, sometimes I think it would be quite helpful to be given a grade for the day--a grade that would denote if I were on the right path, or standing in great need of improvement.

Maybe even being issued a gold star for accomplishments throughout the day.

Or coming across a verse that says, Atta boy!

It's usually the days I am rushing through that I need the assurance the most.

The days when I pray haphazardly...

The days I drop my list of needs with Him and go...

The days I bow my head momentarily...

The days I merely perform a mental checklist...

Today I'm slowing down.

I'm stopping in my tracks.

I'm pausing to pray.

And to listen.
