NEVER FORGET
Today's reading: Psalm 78-80

Oh, that I would never forget the mighty power in God's love for me.

The power that allowed a virgin to bring forth a Son.

The power that directed winds and waves to obey that same Son.

The power that enabled Him to be captured, beaten, whipped and scourged.

The power that overcame Him as He was nailed to a cross.

The power that allowed Him to give up His life for mine.

The power that raised Him from the tomb that Easter morning!

The power that enables me to speak up for Him.

The power that fills me when I stand before a temptation.

The power that strengthens me to walk the walk He has called me to enjoy.

The power that lets me defy satan's lies.

The power that gives confidence to the words I mutter in prayer.

Oh, that I would never forget!
