HURTING OURSELVES

Today's reading: Jeremiah 7-11

We like to play the blame game with sin, but let's be perfectly clear--it's always about us.

Our choice.

Our decision.

Our reaction.

Our response.

Our letting a temptation get to us.

Sure we tend to blame the culture, the times, the media, the way of the world--but it always boils down to us.

Individually.

One on one.

Our heart held up to the scales only God holds.
