Today's reading: 2 Samuel 14-16

Once again we see David being approached with a story in an effort to help him see his choices and family matters from a different perspective.
Aren't we in that same predicament?
Are you seeing the privilege and blessing of attending corporate worship as you never have before?
Are you taking a second thought about the comings and goings of every day life, even in a small, rural community like my own?
Are you noticing coughs, fevers, sniffles like never before, especially in your kids?
Are you seeing with different eyes the value of having always been able to 'drop in' or 'stop by' or 'just hang out' with friends?
Are you viewing friends and family members who serve in the medical community in a completely different, more appreciated way?
Are you taking comfort in a small stockpile of toilet paper in your linen closet as you never thought you would before?
We're all seeing things in a different light--and I'm not sure it's such a bad thing!
