WHAT DO THEY HEAR?
Today's reading: Philemon

"I always thank God when I pray for you, Philemon, because I keep hearing of your trust in the Lord Jesus and your love for all of God's people." Philemon 4-5 NLT

It's always nice to know someone is praying for you.

It gives your spirit a lift.

It lightens your load.

It helps you conquer the day's battles with a renewed zeal.

What would be even nicer is that when they say they're praying for you, they say it because of all the good things they hear you're doing...

But that's not always the case, is it?

Sometimes they hear you're spouted your opinion in an unlovely way.

Sometimes they see your body language not speaking in godly ways.

Sometimes they are eye witnesses to your losing it completely.

Sometimes they see your burden is influencing your love of Christ and of others.

And they pray.

This morning I'm really thinking about what it is they might be hearing about be today--and why they are praying or not for me when they hear it.
