KNOW THE LORD

Today's reading: Hosea 1-7

"Oh, that we might know the Lord! Let us press on to know him! Then he will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring." Hosea 6:3 NLT

Just how well do we know the Lord?

Know about Him-check.

Know of Him-check.

Know people who know Him-check.

But know Him? Do we really, truly, wholeheartedly, know Him?

Are we fully aware of His will, His direction for our life, who He desires we share Him with?

Do we know what breaks His heart, what makes Him smile, what draws Him closer to us?

Let's press on to know Him better.

Let's make the effort to be in His Word, His letter to us, more.

Let's spend more time listening in prayer than merely presenting a list of wants and needs.

The reward of seeking Him out--He will respond to us!

Oh, that we might know the Lord!
